Lotr: Tkr Video Game
<div class="IPBDescription">DONT fill this with the movie stuff</div> hey just to say... this game is GREAT...
i have played it on ps2 and pc so far and have been very impressed on both..
and there is a certain nostalgia playing as gandalf and owning things with 'glamdring' i may be wrong i cant remember his sword... but yeah... VERY good...
i have only played pc demo.. but it handles well and so i got my mom to order it as a early xmas thing this afternoon
but i played more on the ps2 copy... and yeah...
if you liked the first one whcih i had for ps2.. you will love this... pretty much the same layout.. more characters to play as (6) and yeah... i LOVED it... it was the reason i brought a ps2.
so yeah the demo is on Fileplanet and only 83 mb i highly reccomend you at least try it!
Peace.

everyone says it's so great, but to me it just seemed frustrating.
sure, it was filled with a ton of footage, but there was no way to skip past it. i had to watch it every time i wanted to start a new game.
the gameplay wasn't all that great. at first i really tried, but i found myself trying to lean around smoke and fog in the level, but then gave up, not being able to see the battelfield. so i ran around and i mashed buttons at orcs, mainly just to get some "mission failed" message cuz i obviously didn't bash hard enough.
then i tried the coop with my bro. all that happened was i got mad at him cuz he wouldn't go fast enough, and then he would die to some orcs that appeared out of nowhere that neither of us could see to fight anyway.
i had a terrible experience playing this game. i almost cried after i realized i wasted the rental money. if you liked it, hey great. glad you did. i couldn't get past all the crap tho.
i will say one thing good tho before ppl yell at me; i did like the models. and i loved the way they went back and forth between game scenes and movie footage. good job. but that's about it. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Product Features:
Eight playable and secret characters including Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam & Frodo with exclusive voice-over provided by the actual actors from the films.
An all-new co-op multiplayer mode will allow players to team up with a companion.
Over twelve interactive environments authentically reproduced from the films. Explore the Paths of the Dead, defend Minas Tirith, and battle Sauron’s forces at the Pelennor Fields before final confrontations at the Black Gate and the Crack of Doom.
Third person action/adventure gameplay incorporates multiple character paths for each member of the Fellowship.
More than just a backdrop to the action, the game environments are interactive, letting players incorporate the various environments into their strategies for both melee and ranged combat. Characters will have the ability to jump and swing from ropes, fire catapults, kick boulders, etc.
Enhanced control with the right analog stick allows players to perform multi-directional attacks and combos with ease as they battle their way through the forces of evil.
Battle vicious boss monsters including Shelob, the Witch King and the final showdown with the Dark Lord Sauron.
Seamless movie-to-game transitions and never-before-seen exclusive movie footage from the upcoming The Return of the King movie.
Immersive musical score composed by Academy Award-winner Howard Shore.
Game revolution gave it a B+, which means i'll at least rent it on GameCube.
Damned video game, sod off for another month. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
