well what do u think? i spent a good 2 hours on this... trying to find the right colours :3

i am quite proud of it actually! and i am hoping to do a short digi-story strip of the Geistregen marines in action...

i am putting up this test image, as a basic standard i set for myself for the comic.

PLEASE tell me what u think, constructive crits very much appreciated.

im not aiming for uber-detail.. just enough so u know whats going on.. but i sure as hell want to play with lighting >:o

    I like it VERY much. It isn't the current NS-color-style but its ligthning is great. Keep it up that way!

    Nice job.  You have a good style, there.

    One thing I'm not crazy about is the orange thing on his chest.  The color and inflated shape of it make it look a bit like a life preserver.  I think it could be made to look a little more protective and high tech, though I don't know the story behind these guys.

    I can't wait to see what you come up with for the digi-strip.

    Possibly, if you just break the life preserver into panels, it would look better.

    Extremely cool. I like the orange visors and stuff. I'm not all for the lifesavers and pipes all being orange...low key dark grey or black seems more realistic, like it's done right now

    as an artist myself, ill drop all the oh ur so great bs, yeah kid u got something goin for you, but ur still far far away, so practice practice and once aggain practice, can i suggest joining a "drawing community" such as concpetart.org or conceptualdesignforum.com ?

    thanks Lazysam, i'm sure everyone knows that i have nothing to boast or whatsoever.   if got a long way ahead of me and even still i may fall short of greats like Craig Mullins and Yoji Shinkawa...

    but i promise myself that i will always seek to improve myself and thats my greatest pride.

    Uki i hope you did not missunderstand me in my post, i was in no way bashing your skills in my post as you seem to have taken that as its meaning, by all means ur art shows great promise, although its not a top notch level just yet, with constant practice and guidiance ( the latter easily found at a concpetual msg boad ) you could really be awsome, #### i should know ive been drawing since i was 6 and i still suck after 13 years.
