<div class="IPBDescription">USB Logitech Headsets</div> Well, when i press the key binded for voicerecord (k by default), my voice hears pretty badly, like if I were pressing and unpressing the key loads of times....
My comp specs are:
Duron 1.3 ghz
512 DDR Ram
2*120 gb HDs
Win XP Pro
Logitech Headsets USB 20

I formatted to see if it was a HL problem (and to fix some other problems), but didn´t solved.
It worked fine now it doesn´t that is what worries me.
Thanks.

    Don't know much about this, but try binding it to capslock and see if that changes anything.

    Mouse?

    I think I said Caps Lock.

    Or am I missing something? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I binded to Mouse before, since Caps Lock is one of my common used keys.

    I use a USB mic also on WinXP Pro. I would suggest doing a test recording outside of half life first to eliminate sound problems.

    No sound problems.... but I figured it uses windows drivers and it doesn´t has any driver from the manufacturer.

    hmmm....

    On the taskbar....

    Right click on speaker thing>adjust audio propeties>voice

    When you hook up your usb mic you should see the device pop up under the recording tab.

    Mines, works fine, its actually a Playstation2 Logitech USB mic...so yours should work fine <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Try binding it to another key
    check net_graph 3 (to see if you are getting choke/loss/pad ping)

    According to network problems, avoid them, I already tryed loads of configs about it... and when I plugged normal headsets they worked fine. I think it is regarding windows drivers :\
    Just to say, I see recording tab and microphone is enabled and volume is up.
    I can record :\

    a reinstall of winxp might do the trick... often works at windows probs.
