    Free energy DOESN'T exists. Everything that comes up will allways finally come down. All chemical reaction that degages energy will take energy during the reverse process. If free energy exists, we shouldn't must eat to live.

    Did this just become political or is it just me...

    I know you specified nothing scientific, but hydrogen energy is by converting hydrogen and oxygen into water, not the inverse :S Free energy making doest not exists  <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    But is still a good idea, a electric gun  <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    no... it does exist... the hydrogen powered car is available for 2 billion us dollars. it cant be released freely because of the economy crisis it would cause (no need for fuel = oil companies going bust)

    but the emmisions are there... only its not harmful, our very own oxygen...

    my theory is sound... well not really, the thing would imply to be its very own self sufficient power plant that defies the theory of of e=mc2, saying that the gun takes in enuff water per second to satisfy its need for energy output. impossible, water doesnt have much potential energy at an average of 23'c. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    The hydrogen car's emission is steam, not oxygen. it's input is hydrogen and oxygen. The energy is released by creating water with the hydrogen and oxygen.
    To separate water's hydrogen and oxygen, you have to electrolyze it, wich takes energy. The electrolysis adds an electron to each new water molecules. This electron is also libreated during the revert process. This is what creates electricity for hydrogen powered cars.

    That means that separated hydrogen and oxygen are a kind of accumulated energy and you can liberate this energy in an electrical form, like hydrogen powereed cars do, or thermal form, by burning the hydrogen. Both reactions makes water steam.

    So hydrogen powered cars needs to be reloaded, by pluging it on a electric power source (for the electrolysis so it creates hydrogen and oxygen with water, that means you can recycle the water the car produced) or by filling the car's hydrogen tank (oxygen can be taken directly from the air) just like it was using batteries but you can put way more energy in a given volume with hydrogen than with a normal battery.

    Free energy doesn't exists. That means your gun needs to be reloaded with a external power source or it's magazines could be replaced by hydrogen tanks. But you can take in consideration that hydrogen have a very big energy potential. That means your gun doesn't needs to be reloaded very frequently <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->

    so if a catalyst reacts with water, its not free... the water is the fuel, and last time i checked you can get water for free if u just ask

    the separation of water into hydrogen and oxygen is a "endoenergic" formula

    Energy + 2H²O <===> 2H² + O²

    It's water creation from oxygen and hydrogen that is "exoenergic".

    If a catalyst exists for that, you need to "refuel" it.

    Speaking of water fights, I think I'll sketch a flamethrower with super soaker styling...maybe not...
