I can also tell you have some grasp of nano tech (or made a lucky guess) because your description of the replicaters is basicly indenticle to how you would describe nano-machines if you replaced molecule with atom, in fact I think replicater has been used to describe them.
Any way pretty good job and keep it up. You could improve a little, but all around it's nice.

The fact that you could somehow fuse particles together to make new ones (eg fuse two hydrogen’s together and you would get Helium) My idea came from the fact that in this time period they would have developed it on the large scale, eg for spacecraft/spacestations but not on the small scale so a man can carry it. (Plus I wanted to explain how the commander could just "make" stuff appear out of thin air!
