Argghh!

Damn headphones....
....are going in reverse >:/ (right becomes left, left becomes right)
Does anyone know how to fix it? (other than cutting it open and rearranging the wires, last time I tried I almost busted my headphones)
BTW, I can't just simply reverse my headphones, or I'll have an annoying plastic wire hanging right under my nose as if I were on a life support system....
I really need help ASAP
BTW, there are no receivers around my PC so no, that's not the problem :/

BTW, the prob only happens with the headphones, not the speakers, but yet when I test it on another pC, it acts just fine.
If anyone knows where to DL the newest drivers for an Avance AC97 Audio onboard soundcard then maybe it can help :/
Right now playing NS or other games feel weird....
Hmmm.....where did I hear the reason....ah here....

EDIT/REPLY : Hey no prob, I'm pretty adept to this so yeah, next time, don't skip lines
Yell at Marik. Yah.
Anyways. How did it get like that in the first place ? It has to be a configuration problem if it did it on it's own. If you don't want to mess around and you have XP try System Restore.
Somehow one of the speakers enjoy emitting static so it doesn't have to do with any of the settings, must be a defective speaker....
Thanks for all your help anyway, shows how much you guys pwn.
