Great Electrified wall of china....
haha this was a while ago.. but on NS_bast... we built this in tram tunnel..... as they were pinned in refinery...

Half the alien team was still playing hard.. but we had to do this because we had said we would make a great wall if we won bast... which we did...

Thats the thin about team fun's server... u can play hard... and have fun.. and no one minds... as long as it doesent get out of hand....

Anyways heres the screenies of what i consider to be my greatest comming achievement....(other than the 8 onos rush) which you can find elsewhere)

and the other one... u can see comm chairs at the end that we started with.. but then decided to make it electrified..

We had mines all over it.... but a skulk set em off... and we got like 2fps in that room... so we put no more mines...

now if u only made a castle wall and walled yourselves in in a corner with electrified tfs + turrets on the inside and outside, now THAT is protection, until gorges at hive 2 come in, but then thats wut welders r for, ah the good times in basts comm area..

Undoubtedly the greatest defense ever. Primitive thinking (a wall), but highly advanced technology makes it awesome.
No Onos will be willing to run in there.

i reckon theres just enough room for an onos to slip by...

but neway gw, im surprised its taken some1 this long to do an electric wall. But i miss the superlasers od 1.4 mine stacking

Have you ever tried filling a Hive location full of electrified TFs and about 5 turrets only? Nobody can get close. A skulk Leaps in -- zapped by about 5-6 at the same time, meaning instant death. Lerks and Bile Bombers are the only thing that can stand it, and the turrets usually repel them

It's so fun to electrify a Hive to death. Heck, it's fun to electrify ANY Kharaa building to death

Lets say thats a regular public game, and im an alien. Seeing marines building something that they think is funny while making to game which's outcome had already been decided to be stretched and stretched..

    I'd be perty irritated..

I usually leave the game if someone starts spamming eleced tfs.. why? Well. If the marines are so superiour, and don't want to finish the game. Aliens obviously suck or we had the stalemate of the year. And thats not meant for me.

Hmmm...Great Wall of China reduced in size by approx. 20 feet and now can electrify!

Good way to stop those Chinese illegal immigrants from illegally immigrating to Hong Kong and not clutter up space....whee

Now if it were only real >:/

Psssst... you can't see the great wall from space. It's only about 20 feet wide, just really long. It's actually less visible than many US highways!

If it was both and wide, then you could see it from space. But it's not, so you can't.

And this is from about 2 months ago.. i just finally found where the pix were saved...

And its funny to me whether y'all like it or not.... we'd been planning to make a great wall for like 3 games.. aliens knew.... but if u read the chat... it was funny we let them come in and take pix... and we tried walking on top... mined it all up...

There was like one alien who was crying... but all the other ones were havin a good time....

Yeah, you can see the great wall from space. You can even see a lisence plate from space. But to the naked eye You can't see the great wall from an orbital height of 250 km

You can't even see the 405 or I-5 from space, and those are what, 12 lane superfreeways?

i dont know for a fact.. since ive never been in space.. but i distinctly remember that The Pyramids.. and the great wall were the only two man made objects visible from the space shuttles when in orbit...

no **** it's hard to see stuff from space.

But huge cities and such produce very obvious changes that MUST be seen. You just don't know you're seeing it cuz there's no original to compare with.

I find it funny all these racists come out of the woodwork vehemently denying that the wall is visible from space.

    So what?

Now, clear lines and such are possibly also visible in addition to large scale changes in the environment. But who knows what lines? And who cares?

Anyhow of course you can see anything via satellite. I find it strange that some people also claim that the great wall is not of antiquity but of the Ming. Yes, this version is of the Ming. Now it's broken down and many places disappearing. What does this mean for the older wall? No ****, Sherlock. Not to mention the old pre-Ming wall IS STILL VISIBLE by satellite.
