    Guard it with your life...

    <a href='http://www.sxc.hu/' target='_blank'>http://www.sxc.hu/</a>

    You have to register (free), but other than that the pics are high-res, free, and most times of very good quality. No download limits or anything like that. Im pretty sure its for non-commercial use only, but there isnt really any liscensing info at all saying you can't use the images commercially. Since I don't do any commercial work, its never come up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Also with using google, a lot of the time they're copyright pictures, so you can't use them.

    But a professional looking website in a week? Pfft, easy. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Google is, however, your friend, do a search for "royalty free images", or similar, and there's a number of websites out there offering high-quality, free images.

    Yea ima keep looking...Its due friday.

    I was thinking of a simple,professional like banner in flash taking like 40% of the page. Too bad i dont know html or flash. <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

    If its for an assignment, do not use Flash, do not use copyright images. Do a google search for "copyright free images" or "royalty free images".

    Why not flash? It will be displayed with IE and they want us to use Frontpage.

    It depends what level your web design class is. If you are using frontpage, I am betting it is a class that does not include lessons on making your sites compatible and good in a usability sense. Flash is not good for sites which are not to be viewed on PCs, and therefore its usage depends on your specification.

    Make it *simple* use tables, just a few images <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yes, simple is good. Don't go all zany and for god sakes no crappy animated gifs! If your teacher has any brains you would be failed on the spot for those. Try to use a nice color scheme and text, make it pleasing to the eye <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    I like it, structured, clean, professional looking. Still could use work but it's definately a great start.
