<div class="IPBDescription">MEDIC.</div> Okay for the past week ive been having major headaches, right behind the eyes and in the temples. Anyone know how to stop em besides overdosing myself on tylenol? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Drink lots of water (to dilute you blood which relives preassure in your veins and arteries) take a couple of asprin (also relives preasure in blood vessels) and stop staring at your computer screen for so damn long.

But seriously if it's been going on for a week go see your doctor, you can NEVER be too carefull.

Like I said mate drink lots of water, soda is a diuretic e.g. it makes you dehydrated badly, so lay off it a bit and if your stressed (sounds lame) but use the whole taking deep controlled breaths thing. Drinking caffinated drinks is only gonna OVER stimulate you and make you hella more nervous so like I said keep to the water and breath controll.

Unless you wanna have a heart attack on stage.

A little chocolate is okay too...relieves pressure in blood vessels.

Make sure your monitor is set to 85Hz. I've found that even having my monitor run at 60Hz for a short period of time gives me that "bubble behind the eyeball" feeling.

If need be, lower your resolution to 1024x768. Most monitors support 85Hz at this res.

...or you could go to sleep, in a dark. quiet, very cold room... which is what my doctor reccomends, and the only thing that gets rid of mine, even stinking Amatryptaline didnt work...

A glass of the coldest water you can get works brilliantly also <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I find what helps is to take a moist cloth moistened with warm water, and lay down for a bit with your eyes closed and it spread across your forehead. It works wonders.

Run in circles for an hour!!!!!

    Joking...

Hmm, I am not the one to get migraines, but I think CF's advice sounds plausible, at the most.

As for me, sometimes I like to rub my palms together, generate friction, then put the heels of my palms against my eye sockets. Also, go to your doctor if you haven't yet, because you never know, it could be worse.

I'd say you should upgrade to Bayer or Advil. That is all. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
