but it can....
ok this is a really odd problem.. i have used War Scanner, ad aware, spybot hunters, and AV programs...

and nothing is stopping this weird problem..

whenever i go to ANY site.. even this one... it says Cannot be displayed... for the first 2 times i do it.. and it ALWAYS works on the 3rd time... i tried it in opera and i get the same error.. only could not connect to server (basically the same error)

and any ideas? it does this for EVERY web site...

What Browser are you using? Try MoZilla or it's Firebird if you haven't already.

    WolF,

I think i have this problem as well. Or something to the effect of it. I have both IE6 and Mozilla 1.6a I can view sites normally...until 1 fine day when out of the blue, IE6 flashes me a "page cannot be displayed" or "The document has no data" from mozilla. Refreshing the site cures the problem, but its getting irritating.

At times, for example after a long period of time where there isnt any browser activity i.e i was in a game and i get back to using it...it starts to do the same thing again.

Im clueless as to what to do next

sounds to me like packet loss: check your line for those conditions. i believe dsl reports have a line tester for this but you may have to sign up to use it, i believe its free to sign up so give that a try.
