    Why should electricity have any range at all? Why not make it affect only those who are touching it (attacking or standing right next to it)? This would solve the issue, and still make it viable option.

    eRT + PG + eTF = helluva hard to take down, even as a regen fade (add two to four turrets to the corners of the TF and not even onos can take it down very easily). Expensive, yea, but marines need to secure only 4 RT's to make it easy to win.

(this was on eclipse) ive seen 15 tfs in rine base with 0 turrets. comm eleced them all and they were sitting in a pretty little cluster. when we got into elec range 15 bolts zapped us and we all insta-died. it just wasnt fair. then they started adding turrets to the cluster. they were unstoppable. then we figured out their weakness. they never eleced their rts. we sent all of our team to the rts and screwed them all. then we capped them. we returned to the rine base with a major rt boost but found they had ha/hmg. nice thing is, they turreted up base so heavily they couldnt get out <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> we procedded to get 3 hives and all fades. we strolled to rine base and started aring the ha/hmgs. they all died under our ail of fire. by making a tower, 1 ha actually got out of base but we massecred him. the base rt went down and they knew they were probably screwed. however, we still couldnt get in cuase of the 15 eleced tfs and the massive turret farm that stretched from 1 end of the base to the other. in case u dont know how big that is, thats bout 65 turrets. we then procedded to all gorge in a massive 10 gorge gang and bilebombed the crap outa them (oni wouldnt fit). we rampaged into their base, then 10 nades flew in and we all redemmed. they came and took our cc hive but we took their main base. they once again holed up with massive turret farms and eleced tfs. we got **** off and all went onos. we rampaged into that hive and screwed them over. it was kewl cept half our oni died frum nade spam.

    get a better team. onos in 3 minutes?? you deserve to lose. only way that could happen is if 1 skulk killed every single member on the team and then sat over the ip killing you as you spawned. you barely see fades within 5 minutes, let alone onos at 3
