Server Config For Players?

not to be racist but, is there any way to change a single player's skin color on a server? my african american friend is always a white guy (nomatter how much he leaves/joins or i restart server) and he wants to be black... help??

    I think you're confused. There are two 3rd person marine models(e.g. the way other players see you). One is white and one is black. But there is only one first person marine model(the hands and the gun), and that one is white. What that means is to everyone else your skin color may very well be black but your hands will always remain white. If its really bothering you, you can check out the <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=SF&f=19' target='_blank'>NS Customization Forums</a> and search for some black first person hand models. Then from your perspective the hands will always be black, but there is no way to make everyone on the server see you as black every time.

    Shouldn't you be able to select your model's skin? Kinda suprising if you can't.

    "topcolor 30" is for the black marine
    "topcolor 1" is for the white marine

    Not sure if it always works, because I keep mine set to black, however in HLTV it doesn't always show up that way.

    [edit] I'm wrong, I was told this by a friend a long time ago, HAMBONE seems to be right.

    yes i am confused cause there is also a black skin for the hands in the v models
