And here's me thinking that we're donating just out of the good in our hearts.
*EDIT: I, for one, don't care if you're "bringing this public", if you're having problems, maybe you should keep it private, it's nothing to do with us. Maybe you gave an incorrect email, maybe (if you sent by snail mail) it got lost in the post, perhaps paypal screwed up your transaction, who knows, but i'll tell you for a fact, we don't know.

its good he posted it. it lets us and the people in charge know that something might be wrong between him and the people that handle the checks/money.
oh, tah hell with it...

Letting the people in charge is a very good idea. How about emailing them, PMing them. There's not specifically something wrong with the system since hundreds of us have used it without incident, it's a specific, isolated case.
Has the money been removed from your account? If you used paypal, did you recieve confirmation from paypal? Does your paypal account register if the money was transferred? Did paypal give you an error? If you sent a cheque, has the cheque been cashed? Did you check if you gave the correct email?
It is in absolutely no way good that he posted it, ontop of that, the way he worded the post it sounds like this is a threat. All this "where's my money" and "i'm making this public". That won't change anything.
Lets draw up a list of people involved.
We have Uranium here, and we have Flayra. Possibly Paypal working as a middleman between Flayra and Uranium. Hmm, nope, sorry, i didn't notice "tens of thousands of forum viewers" in that list of concerned parties. Did anyone else manage to figure what the community has got to do with an isolated incident with two individuals?
Also, i donated just before the 2.1 beta was opened to CM, which is less than 2 weeks ago amd i recieved word back the day after, so chances are you or paypal has screwed up somewhere. Try backtracking and see if any problems occurred or if you made any errors.

In short, though Esuna's methods leave quite a bit to be desired, he's right. E-mailing Flayra and checking your method of contribution is about the only way to figure out what's happened. Additionally, being a Constellation member is not 'buy your way into the Beta'. It was given to the Constellation as a treat... a 'thank you' for donating, and helping Flayra pay his rent and have food to eat while development on NS continues full-time.
