I agree with the "Zion is another matrix" theory.
Why?
Because there is a MMORPG, the Matrix Online, which is supposedly set AFTER the events of revolutions. I can't give linkage because it was a while ago I saw the site, but it definatly gave me the impression that the end of revolutions is going to leave us where the original started.
I like that one. I don't think thats it, because that would require more imagination than any producer, no matter how good has, but I like it.

Don't mind him he's part of the Reloaded haters that hated reloaded before ever seeing it because it was a sequel to the Matrix.
These movies are for people who like that matrix because it is ultimately cool, not for people who liked the first Matrix because it was new.

How is a happy ending poo? Whatever I'll be happy in a few years when all the hype dies down and people rewatch the movies and realize they are good, then all the haters can feel silly, and maybe even understand what Reloaded was about.

What is the Matrix?
What is the "real world?"
What does "Naiobi?" have to do with anything?
What will happen to the Matrix?
What will happen to the "real world?"
What are all the religious links about?
Who is the Oracle?
Who is the guy he fights on the way to the Oracle?
Who is the Architect?
Who is that French guy?
How can Neo blow a sentinal up in the "real world?"
That's only a sample of the questions I want answering... Now watching the trailer I see a 20 minute fight sequence between Neo and Smith... A 20 minute fight between robots and people... Including random fights between the rest of Neo's cronies... How is it going to answer all the open threads?!
