    Well any other payment system would be great, paypal doesnt want to accept payments from my country (even though i have regular master card I ordered just to donate to constelation), in our country credit card internet payments are more restricted and not common to prevent thefts (people simply use direct wire transfer - safer,cheaper,faster here)..

    Donating to the constellation crew program doesn't really get you anything other than an icon and satisfaction.

    If you want to do it, you should do it because you can and feel morally obligated to give back to those who make this possible.

    If you can't it's understandable and no one is going to **** you up by the collar and beat you for insolence of not purchasing a constellation star.

    yes that's why I want to pay. It feels horrible that you pay for a game like Daikatana, and not for NS.

Hiding their telly# is no good! Too bad I don't really use PayPal anyway. Its the last option I take when I buy stuff online.

    Do you just makenoise like your opinion matters? Look what he said:

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->people without steady income can't have credit card<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Well the problem with newsgroups is that people make too much assumptions.
    I just listed reasons why people in general can't have credit cards. For young people that monthly income is usually the factor.

    For me it is my will to be on my own - not to borrow money.
    I don't want credit card. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Meaning he's spendng more then he has.

    In which case, why on EARTH would he consider donationg $20 a priority?

    Gee I'm sorry I took an economics class, and I'm sorry I assumed that by lacking a steady income he meant he couldn't afford the credit card.
    <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    And again it doesn't matter if I have 20€, 200€ or 2000€ in my bank account. Yeah I am from Europe. Poin is that without credit card it is almost impossible to donate. <b>Our local debit cards</b> (I have one of those) <b>are not accepted by PayPal</b> or other major electronic trading services.

    That's why I was hoping for a way to donate without credit card. Sure I can put money in a letter or a money order but I'd rather keep it electronic where I can say when I did send, how much it was and where it was directed to.

    So please, <b>I was hoping</b> that there would be <b>more talk about wire transfers vs. credit cards</b> than going to personal level.

    What is 20€ or 20$ anyway? It is less than one night at the bar anyway.

    So once again:
    <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> <b>Would it be terrible if we could pay Constellation membership trough Share-It</b> or similar service where direct wire transfers are ok? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Anyway, just mail a check, or even cash. Though I'd go find a currency exchange or something and send him american dollars, not your funny play money you use over there <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    There's an address on the constellation signup. Should only cost a dollar or so to mail.
