I've fallen for that trick 5 times, and I can't keep myself from clicking on it!
You checked the forums to see if we approved your Jessica Alba pic clicking? Hmm..yeah. Good call ace!
From what I've been able to gather, it instals a script on your irc that automatically advertizes that link every 5 minutes or so. I think it also gets a trojan on your PC. Not sure about the last part, though.
but before i actually payed attenion to the name of the link,i saw it spammed in a few channels and knew then it was a bad link

Not rumors. It happened to me.
Upon clicking on the link, every process on my system crashed and froze. MIRC was the only thing left running. Stupidly, I tried resetting to fix the problem. Big mistake.
The link somehow corrupts one of your Windows kernel files, and it happens to be a rather vital one. Once restarting your system there is no way to repair it, your system plain out and out won't boot, and the Windows repair program is an absolute joke. There is no way to remove the virus save for a complete format. That's what I was forced to do, thankfully I was able to get my important stuff off (read: pron & hentai ) onto another drive by plugging into one of my housemate's systems.
Importantly, neither firewalls nor Norton anti-virus will stop this (I'm behind a house router Linux firewall plus XP personal firewall and I had Norton running fully updated). Also remember that the person who spams the link often isn't doing it intentionally. The reason I clicked on it in the first place was that one of my RL friends in IRC posted it, and I trust the guy. Of course, he didn't know he was doing it, and by the time we realised it was bad, I had already rebooted and the rest was history
