You might have noticed I've been away from the forums for the past two days. Or not. Anyways. Some of you might also know I was having problems with my computer. Or not. Anyways I was, and it finally died yesterday. Something caused a bunch of files to become corrupted on my Win2k partition, as well as my Win98 partition. Can't even boot into Win2k and 98 takes about half an hour to load up, and if you go to dos it takes 15 minutes to read the files in the root C:\ directory. Fun stuff. Anyways I've got my new system relatively up and running using the graphics card in the Dell (dead comp), got Win98 installed to my computer, gonna try and pull off files we want to keep from the Dell then do a clean sweep. Just wanted to let you know why I would be gone.

    Seriously good luck getting your files back, I lost a whole 80 gigs worth of files in a hard drive death and its not a fun thing.

    No I don't have warez and stuff, and I searched for spyware and viruses before it wouldn't let me boot at all. I got 2000 installed on my new compie, gonna move the drive over later today and hopefully it wont be 100% fubar.

    WOOHOO!!!! Er.. yea.. after about 8 hours we finally got the stupid arse router to work. I'm back! Sort of... Turns out the entire HD is fried, gonna go up and buy a new one tomorrow for the Dell. And it also happens that the CD I burned right before total meltdown is a coaster (keeps saying invalid win32 application and stuff when I try to access it). Just wanted to say how happy I was.
