Rashes Over My Body

<div class="IPBDescription">the itch!</div> Hello everyone

As of recent (3 days), rashes in the form of little red bumps have been breaking out over my body, in the elbows, on the elbow joint, on my back, particularily shoulders, legs, and buttocks. There not huge notices, but they itch, and I don't know why I got them suddennly. I am sure that I don't have emhpezemia, because that is a born condition? But what are your reccomondations? I really don't want to go to the doctors...

Thanks in advance.

I don't think bringing 'strange itchy rashes' into a public discussion board is the greatest idea...

FYI: Emphysema is a lung condition blessed to the people stupid enough to smoke. Haha you deserve it, those that have it.

I think you mean eczema (however you spell it). It's not a genetic condition, I had it years ago for a short while; it'd come up on my arms when I got stressed o.O

Just put cold stuff on it and whatever you do, DON'T SCRATCH IT <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

oh and go to the doctors, regardless of whether you'd like to or not. Could be something worse than any of us know about or the doc could give you some soothing lotions for it (I got some for my arms from the doc along with a lollypop ^^ )

Don't worry! Dr. ThoraX is in the house.

It seems to me that you are suffering from a minor kharaa infection. I advise you not to itch them and to go see a doctor about that if you feel it may be something serious. You could come to me, but i'm only dressed like a doctor to take your money. That will be $87.79 please. mind the other patients on your way out.

I used to have these very itchy and painful bumps on my palms.

They hurt and itched like you would never imagine.

I had to keep a ton of ice on it to keep me from going insane.

there <i>obviously</i> is only one solution.

    five hundred thousand leeches.

switch to lampreys in groups of five for spot treatment.

Ask your mom if you had chicken pox before. If you haven't then that's probably what you have now. If it is:

    1) Stay home and don't go near anyone, it is very infectious.
    2) It should pass in a week or so.
    3) DO NOT SCRATCH!

DUDE, I've had Pityriasis Rosea for about a year now, try living with that if you think you little rash is bad. I hate my life. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->

if theyre red spots allover your body and not actually rashes and they itch its chicken pox

if its bumps and rashes, maybe its sumfin to do with your bed sheets or sumfin, sometimes having same sheets on ya bed for a while can attract mites and they can cause irritation and rashes and lumps on your body.

gone swimming in any rivers or lakes, could be duck lice only duck lice usually on affects the arm pits and pelvic area.

maybe the plant you touched was poison ivy and you had an allergic reaction.

or you were attacked by an army of mosquitos who joined forces to attack you for killing their commander <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

itd be easier if you could show a pic or sumfin of the rash.

Not sure if this only works for mosquito bites, but scratching AROUND the bite(or in this case, bump) feels like you're scratching ON the bite, so it stops itching.

    *sigh

Jeeze didn't you learn anything in -TSA boot camp?

You are supposed to promptly wash those <!--emo&::lerk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/lerk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='lerk.gif'><!--endemo--> spores off after coming into contact with them.

    Or dire consequences may occure...

You better do a double check to make sure there arnt any Hives budding out of your buttocks there. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

In an other more serious note, Id go to a doctor or dermatologist and get a professional opinion (*not saying all the other posters dont know anything) just to be sure you know what it really is.
