I know this isn't much but I put some time into it, just fooling around. If anyone wants to use it for anything go ahead.

hmmm can't post a .bmp as a valid image extension...

    Open it in MSPaint(or whatever).
    Then chose Save as... and make sure it's called "something.jpeg". Voila, its in .jpeg form, and much much smaller filesize.

    if ya msn paint dont support jpeg, like most usually dont if ya aint got another art prog which does then go here and download jasc psp

    <a href='http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp' target='_blank'>http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp</a>

    then in jasc go to

    >FILE> EXPORT >JPEG OPTIMIZER

    do this one because then you can set the compression rate.

    best compression for good quality is 1-14

    medium quality- 15-29

    bad quality- 30 and up

    if ya save as jpeg in msn it will turn into bad quality compresson nomatter what and it still is a rather large file.

    save in jasc with those compression rates the image will greatly decrease in size.

    an average 500 x 600 pixel pic compressed at compression rate 10 wil change from 3.0 mb as a bmp to 80kb as a jpg.

    just thought thatd help ya a bit <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    It's 2.8 KB!!!!!!!!!!!! JPG compression would only make it look less pixely... <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif'><!--endemo-->

    pixel art should always, ALWAYS be saved as GIF or PNG. I know what I'm talking about, here's something I made:
