starting today, a Solar flare will hit the Earth and will comtinue to bombard it for over the week end. The heavy Solar activity will effect several electronic devises like cell phones, and the internet. The Northern or Sounthern lights will be visable from places you normal could not see them. you may not be able to see them if your near a city, with all the light polution.

no dummy, a solar eclipse is when the the moon eclipses the sun and the moon's shadow is cast upon the earth. a solar eclipse dose not produce electromagnetic interference.
what the sun emits a solar flare, it shoots out an abnormal amount of particals and ions. when they interact with the earths atmosphere and the electomagnectic belt it puroduces the Aurora Borealis.
think a bit before you flame
this may explain some of the strange behavior my less than normal friends have been exhibiting today. no, wait, that happens all the time...
will my cell phone explode if i use it over the weekend because of the solar flare?

I can understand it sort of, but I'm not an astrophysicist either. Doopah!
it's in my kitchen. And no, you can't see it.

Solar eclipse - the moon blocks the sun...this is what you want to memorize so that when you go back in time you can say, "Give me all your money, or I'll block out the sun forever!" right before a solar eclipse. You don't want to look at these, they can blind you. There's some weird box thing you can make to watch it...but that was 4th grade, I don't know how to do it anymore.
Lunar Eclipse - these are the ones where the moon turns red....perfectly fine to look at (...the moon, not the sun).
Hooray for cosmic ...stuff.
No! No Gabe! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
