seriously, everyone needs to see some actual movies besides war movies and sh*t. if you cry, that means you're sensitive and you enjoy sad movies and stuff. so go see some real movies. god damn.

I never cry at war movies. Seeing humans die just makes me laugh. My whole family tells me "Human's dieing is not funny", but normally I don't hear them because of the loud laughter ^^

Anyway, hurting animals makes me sad. And just yesterday I figured something more out. It was on ns_nothing [note: I have the CuteGorge model], my clanmate [gorge] cried "HEEELP!!!", I ran to him [/me Onos], when I saw him he was desperately jumping around, spitting at those evil rines. When I was 1 meter near him, he got hit by an HMG salvo in the head [looked like this] in midair. Imagine: A cute looking, cute noises making gorge jumps around. Then, all of a sudden you hear the bullet penetrate his head and see him lieing on the floor Sad, isn't it? I went mad and slaughtered the rines, but for the rest of the day I couldn't get the picture cute gorge->jumping->DEAD out of my head. I was so confused I had to quit playing for this day cause I just couldn't concentrate anymore. I love gorges

somehow you didn't get the main idea behind my statement 0_o?

i should have included all the possible genres i guess... [bewildered]

    here's attempt #2

you guys need to stop rattling off these fantasy/sci fi/thriller/action movie/war movies, because normally they're not to be cried to 0_0

is EVERY SINGLE PERSON HERE a f***ing weirdo? don't ANYBODY dare say yes, because it's not f***ing true.

hasn't ANYONE seen a genuine tear jerker movie?

sorry.. a few people mentioned stuff like beautiful life and such, but not enough in these SEVEN pages of thread >_>

    SAVING PVT RYAN!

oh SPR that made me cry..

OH when tom hanks died, boo f***ing hoo

    gimme a break 0_0

    /me blinks.

dude, I was confused b/c epic fantasy is actualy SUPOSED to do things like that (get you very attached to chars to the point where things that happen actualy matter)

I honestly find alot of 'sapy' movies are often just silly (mainly b/c of the LACK of characher development, thus why I DON'T care about them)

Forinstance, "the greatest love story of all time", aka Romeo And Juliet (note I am a Shakespear fan), FAILS to get you attached to R&J thus I don't care when they die.

regardless of genre, a lot of movies out there suck, bud.

that's why you watch the good ones, i think.

I'm not kidding. I hate humans. But I like animals. Animals never hurt me. But humans did. Worst thing was that my own sister wanted to kill me. And all around me I see animals dieing, like my birds, my guinea pigs and all my pets I had. They all died by some fuxx0ring unhealable illness they got born with. This sux, so I switched to give all the postitive feelings I have to animals/"dead" things, like my PC. As so, I get really mad when I see animals suffering

:EDIT: Yeah, someone else who tell me to seek help. Let's look at the list:
-Family, friends, clan mates, everyone I meet online/in reallife, that silent voice inside my head...

But I won't seek help. I don't need help. I'll just kill myself when I can't take it any longer or something...

Anyways, anyone else thinking brutality against animals is wrong and makes you sad?

Saving Private Ryan: to this day I can't watch that movie. I saw it once and the ending got to me so badly I refuse to watch it again. That damn movie had me depressed for a week.

I get sad at a lot of weird things. but i'm sorta like Obst, where i'm more attached to my animals (pronounced ani-moo-s for cuteness) then I am to some of the people around.

    hmm...what movie got me sad...

Fellowship of the ring, when Gandalf died.

Quest for Glory 4 when I set the rusalka free.. course, it was 4am ^^
that whole game was so morbid and depressing and had a kind of permanent nostalgic touch to it, along with a really well done, impending sense of doom

FF3 aka FF6 didn't make me cry but disturbed my heart immensely, when the Gambler dude takes you to the airship.. the setting, the music, the remembrance.. and when what's his name half resurrects Rachel.. I was like WTH

Yeah, end of Cowboy Bebop was WTH also
I'm thinking that I will never, ever appreciate sad endings to any kind of story

System Shock 2 is definitely one of the best games ev4r

yah, I admit, I don't like sad endings

I tend to read/playgames/watch stuff to break away for a few hours.

I don't mind the periodic tear jerker but I wnat it to end on a good note

I can't even make myself cry for a movie. I can try to make myself as vulnerable as I can, I might get close, but I never get there.
I'm also told that I swagger... I don't believe it though (related?)

you shouldn't really have to try to cry at a movie... if you're into it and you don't shield yourself from your own emotions too much it should just happen naturally =D
Sometimes a good cry really makes you feel great afterwards

Things that make me cry or a strong emotional response (in films):

"Him" dying in Star Trek Nemesis, i watched it at the cinema with my mates, and i screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" when it happened.

When the sniper gets killed in Saving Private Ryan. HE'S THE BEST CHARACTER IN ANYTHING EVER!

When Tom Hanks dies in the same film

When John Coffey dies in The Green Mile (the book and the film both made me cry).

When the terminator dies in Terminator 2 (where you see it from his eyes and it all goes blank. Awwwww *gets tissue*)

I laughed when Bambi's Mom got shot, I don't know why though.

When one of the characters dies in League Of Extrodanary Gentlemen, i can't say which one (because it spoils it), but it's not the main bad guy (and it's not the main good guy either). That made me cry too, because quite basically, he pwnt.

In the book "Dreamcatcher" when they describe what the bullies are doing to Duddits... didn't make me cry but it got me really angry.

    Can't think of any more.

yeah man, i was watching in history class and i was screaming "SHOOT DOWN THE BARREL! THROW A GRENADE DOWN IT! DO SOMETHING! *boom*. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Lots of things make me blub like a little girl these days. One scene in Equilibrium slays me: where Cleric John Preston hears the opening to Beethoven's 9th Symphony for the first time and collapses in a chair weeping. That kills me, because exactly THAT happened to me when I first truly heard that piece of music.
