<div class="IPBDescription">go away</div> Ok, anyone know how to turn off the friggin ambien music in the background in NS?
cause the sound effects dont bother me its that dam music that keeps coming in and out
when iam playing the game. I mean its nice for the website and the begining but not the entire game


Oh and where it displays the RENODES 3 Vs 6
how can you keep that on all the time?

Well, you can use "nexttrack" then, but I would hope that is fixed for 2.1.

If you really really want it gone you can just delete all the mp3's in your \ns\music folder. If you want your own just add in an mp3 and it will shuffle between them all.

Logicbox : I had the same problem when I started, with jittery music.

Deleting the MP3's does deprive you of some nifty ambient though, I'd save them somewhere else.

If you were smart (Like me) you would just play the NS music *externally* and then enter a game. Put 'stoptrack' or whatever stops the current song, and your good to go. Music throughout the entire game.

Haze: If I played it on say Winamp would that use more RAM and therefore lower my NS performance?

It probably would lower your performance as it is usina all availablew resources for NS and then it has to split those resources between win amp and NS.

As for the shaky ambience sounds, i get that too but i dont bother turning it off because i cant stand playing with out some ambience mood music now, can I?

yea, the ambience music rocks...If its a choice between detecting that skulk a sec earlier or hearing the music...i choose music.
