you can take out outpost on your own.
as a gorg, I've used this tactic a lot, if you do it right you can manage to destroy complete marine outposts.

get redemption and andrenaline

now all you do is run into a area even if marines are in there and constantly jump around spamming bile bomb untill you redem, once you redem go back there asap and repeat. this keeps marines constantly welding there outposts and is annoying. I managed to nearly take out central prossecing on caged doing this. since bb doesnt hurt the structure unless your on the same plane of it this is the best way.

comments? good or bad thing to do?

It's a chancy thing, and you can do other things that might be as effective, or effective in different ways. Redemption is generally a nice upgrade for gorges because they can't run fast enough to escape with cara, nor hide in places marines can't shoot long enough for regen to work. Cara is okay if you're maintaining your vast WOL and have DCs enough to heal you up, but redemp is pretty much the least risky thing for a gorge to get. Even so, gorges get splatted good with shotties, and sometimes, you just take too much damage before redeeming, and die.

In this situation, redemp and adren are okay, if you're just taking out a small TFarm, maybe 6-8 turrets total. However, you can do better than this:

Get one lerk or fade buddy to accompany you. I know this topic assumes pubbing, and that your team has no teamwork, or not enough to help you out, but I'm making this exception to point out how much, as a gorge, you NEED to bother your teammates for their cooperation. Bilebomb is nice against all marine structures, but against turrets, it's the best, hands down. This is because you only need to bilebomb a little while, usually using the pop-and-chuck method, to open up a blind spot on the factory. If you have a lerk buddy, destroying the rest of the base is your responsibility, while the lerk keeps watch for incoming LA squads or rambos, or umbras in case a wild ****-storm of HMGs roll through and attempts to cluster-**** you both. If you have a Fade buddy, he goes to work on the TF once you bile him an open spot. You cooperate and down the TF, and call in the skulks. It helps to call them in BEFORE it goes down, of course. Fade is also capable of beating away any marine opposition. He also has you to heal him mid-battle, or as he beats on the no doubt elec't TF, or the rest of the turrets.

With teamwork, it tends to work the first time, unless the marine team is on the ball about phasing or running there to salvage things. Without teamwork, you usually have a shottie-monkey or HMG of doom waiting for you after you take down a few turrets.

For permagorges its a wise investment - or if you really want to make sure you stay alive, redeem and celer.

I tend to do this in games where I spend most of my time gorge - saves me having to dig up 10 res just to gorge again. Handy too.

Yep, redept keeps me from having to spend 10 res again that could be used for the next thing I build. And hey, I'm not afraid to run with the skulks to battle.

If you intend to go in a farm with 1 or more farmers present and expect to redeem rather then heal, celeritiy is probably a better upgrade.

In the short time you're bilebombing before you're redeemed adrenaline won't help you much.
To get within range of the structures, dodge marine fire and above all get back to the action after redeeming, celerity will help.

Absolutely. I only use redeem as a "safety net" since celer will usually get me to a DC or the hive. I think its a really good combo for more "front line" gorges since you have artificially more res because you're just never dying. So I can afford to drop three dcs which will do more benefit than adren healspam, imho.

WOL's are just a waste of res imho, you're better off saving for extra hives. Towards that end, redeem is a handy tool. no more 10 res wasted

WOL's are negated the instant the marines get GL's. Poop.

Yes, bunny hop while you are at with celerity/redempt and the marines have a serious issue on their hands. You will be a lighting gorge.

Gorges are tough with cerelity, they are fast little buggers that will keep a rine team on their toes about thier outposts.

I hope the skulks don't mind you disappearing from the fight. If you are going to get redemption as a safety net, you shouldn't be charging into the front lines. Sitting back some and healing skulks that retreat for a second is fine, but you will get redempted quickly if you run to the front lines.

Gorge with silence can tag marines with hive sight and kill them surprisingly easily with health spray if theyre all lined up, quite a few times ive hit a HA train with this and they dont realise until theyre on 20%hp

Redemption isnt something i use anymore as generally if theres a large group of rines you will die before redeeming 98.1%of the time(hehe bs numbers ) Regen or cara will ensure that you can tangle with marines of up to 4 in number and with celerity will come out of it unsathed if u know wot ur doing.

your scrwed if they have turrets and marines shooting you, you won't get pulled back.

So you run your arse off with celerity back to your DC nest, durrrrrr.

Lets be honest, you only attack outposts at TWO hives so you can bile, so by that point you've MC and DC, thus if you don't expect to redeem then you can celer your way to the nearest DC area. Make no mistake, celer gorges are nasty things to hit.
