I thought that was pretty funny, actually. I have yet to meet someone as thick-skinned as I am about that kind of stuff, though. Everyone has a different moral compass, and the way I see it, just because you don't approve of it doesn't automatically make it wrong. It just makes it offensive to you. If Ghettopoly offends every human being on the planet, it won't be sold and no more will be made. If people are buying it, obviously there's a market for it, so whatever. It's not hurting anyone, it's not supplying drugs or guns to anyone, so just let it go and fix the problems that it makes light of.

In fact, if anything this is a boon to people trying to raise awareness of problems like this; if someone plays it and thinks, "This is horrible" and goes out and helps people then congratulations, more help for you. If someone plays it and thinks, "This is funny", they laugh a bit. And... umm... go about converting their neighborhood into the ghetto? I fail to see how, exactly, you could justify censoring this kind of thing just because you're offended by it.

I lived in South LA for 9 years, does that mean I get to make racist comments?

Are you directly talking to me or to the first poster? My post was talking to sirus, and reverse racism is what things like giving minorities advantages over 'white' students for example is called.

It is racism if you give white students equal or better opportunities, but not racist to disadvantage them the other way.

    Hence 'reverse' racism.

That calls for no violence or robbery, and that's inherently offensive.

If you disadvantage the black, is it reverse racism as well?
Anyway, I'm completely agree with the author, exaggerated stereotypes is not racism (it's not like every black is in a ghetto) And even those in the ghetto should be able to laugh at that

So taking away the black peoples' freedoms wasn't racist? Not giving them the right to vote wasn't racism, it was just reverse racism? You're disadvantaging them when you do that so by your definition it's not racist. Is it just me or does this logic make no sense?
