Steam Update

Just wondering if anyone else got a steam update recently - ie in the past hour. I use steam a fair bit, and it just updated itself then. I couldnt find any notification on the steampowered.com website - but one thing I did notice was that the names of my options in steam had magically restored themselves from gibberish to normal.

Something else I noticed - it froze at about 29% - I just cancelled it and restarted the dl and all was fine.

That said, I'm really starting to enjoy steam now, it feels weird going back to oldschool halflife and not being able to browse the servers from the esc menu. And I love the alt tab freedom....

    Downloaded it. Still getting the 'cannot connect...' error. At least they were kind enough to change the message it gives you. Now if they would fix it.

    And e-mailing them for help is like writing a letter to Santa.

    Mine's updating itself now. Hopefully they've restored
    the Counter-Strike bots (not a huge CS fan myself but the bots were fun)
