It's easy for aliens to generate RFK when the marines don't have armor upgrades, are in a tight space, and not to mention that they had almost all the RTs on the map (ns_lost) save for the one out of Alpha Continuim. So, it's easy for people to go onos, and it was an 8v8 game. I'm not sure it was 20, I lost count after I died about 12 times.

But then again, when has stuff people do on the net been restricted by reality anyways? I don't see anyone getting slapped with giant fish in real-life or running about with an endless supply of cookies that everyone universally likes but it happens on the net all the time =D
one time i was playing on a 7 vs 7 server, and we had 2 hives , but NO CHAMBERS, so i was typing and typing tryign to convince the gorge to drop chambers, then the admin "Admin-Gagged" me so i couldnt use talk.... So there we were, i spawned in one of the NON CHAMBERED hives and i saw 4 HA's setting up a siege and turret farm (since i was "Gagged" i couldnt warn my teammates) so i tried to kill them, and failed. Our team had 5 onos, but they were ALL busy trying to get the double res node. So there i was, watching the hive get set up for death and watching the HA's increase in number and prepare for the incoming onos. By the time our team got that double res,the second hive came down, and the HA'S tore up the onos like paper plates. Yep we lost, and it coulda been helped...no wait my team woulda ignored me and kept chomping the turret farm at the double res...oh well
On the same losing topic, i was playing on the Depot server, and i was getting console killed by DS depot himself. Why? because i accidently spawned a pg in the hive room of a certain map, and it spawned under the floor. While i didnt know that it was an exploit (i didnt even notice it was underground) i couldnt highlight it to recycle because my commander mode was lagged to the roof already, highlighting things were near impossible. While depot refused to help me fix the commander mode, he kept whining about the pg. so um yeah, people should be willing to help if they want something done.
as for Geminosity, well...if we cant determine male...and if we cant determine female....lets call him/her a transvestite! a lil bit of both! hahah jk, dont take this seriously

But on the other end of the scale, it's nice to know that the commander is paying attention to you because you are the only one following orders; "Trent, behind you!" *I whip out a pistol, turn 180 degrees with just enough time to unload the clip on the skulk, and switch back to LMG to kill the lerk that rounded the corner* "here's a RT, dont worry about building it fast, watch out for aliens." *I kill two more aliens (or the same one twice) in the process of building the RT, and soon followed by claims of "BS" and "Hax" from the other team* "Yeah! go Trent!" *with these words momentarily blocking out all other sounds (or maby the skulk had silence), I get my head bitten off from behind.*

While I am generally a calm player, there are times when I just lose it. As comm, seeing the squad I spent god-knows-how-long assembling together, separating out, because "one of them knows better" infuriates me. I never shout abuse, but I will get angry, shouting orders and generally being nasty to the players in question. However, even while I am in a rage at some particular marines, I will be quite calm and resonable to marines who are not being stupid.
If marines are carrying out my orders, I will pay more attention to them, I will remember them doing good stuff, and thus, they get the best stuff. I have a rule: The first person to ask for a weapon, is the last person to get it. Normally I will ask the team who can use weapon X effectively, and give it to that person (assuming I've seen them in action previously.)
People who just shout abuse over voice-comm just ruin it for others. Especially people who join a game halfway through and begin shouting abuse at whichever way the game has gone.
On one game in 1.04 aliens had routed us from our spawn, and we had setup base in one of the hives. We had 2 HAs with HMGs, and two LAs, one of the LAs being the comm. The aliens had 3 fades, occasionally 4. As the aliens went down to 3 players, we could expand out, under the protection of our HAs, eventually we had setup a very basic perimeter, then someone would join alien, making it 4vs4, and we would get forced back. This continued for a while, which actually made for some fun gameplay. Then a large group entered. 2 went marine. One went alien. (Making it 6 vs 5) What was the first thing one of the new marines said "OMG U GUYS SUCK COS UR IN TEH HIEV!!!!11" and then proceeded to flame us about how "WE SHUD HAEV BAETED TEH ALENS WHELE TEHY SAWPN" so, despite the fact we had more marines than aliens, we lost. We had successfully held out against the aliens with 4 marines, and almost as soon as the new marine started complaining it went to pieces, he didn't work for the team, he took our only welder (we weren't exactly swimming in res) and got himself killed. Without the welder, the HA wore down, and then it was over. I'm not going to blame the whole loss on him, but he definitively contributed to it.
