Free Version Of Maya

<div class="IPBDescription">Where can I get it?!?!</div> Does anyone know where can I get a free version from Maya? The site states that only on October 15th they will start giving free downloads of the program, and I would like to know where I can find earlier versions of the program. I mean, not even sure if there is a free version!!

    I think I'd suggest waiting till October 15th, then. To my knowledge, Maya is not currently available for free anywhere.

    First mention of warez gets a world of hurt, courtesy of yours truly.

    no its not warez i have it its the maya learning edition you should be able to download it off there site or buy it from them for 20 bucks if you pay the 20$ youll get the 200+ page manual but you wont be able to do anything commercial since once you render something there is this big transparrent text that says mayalearning addition

    i have been looking for the learning edition myself also, so far taht i know of, the link to download the learning editiong FROM THE MAYA SITE (*pokes coil*) has been down... possibly a newer edition will soon replace the FREE version available from maya themselves...

    if not, just google for "maya learning download" someone will have mirrored the free version.

    ya, im taking a class in maya now, and the 4.5 PLE was taken down a month or two ago to ramp up for the v5 release. which sucks, cause i gotta go to the labs to do homework now :/
