I really like the "used" look <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Sound good. I'd like to see a transition from the "used looking" front part to a clean handle, which might be a bit more realistic because the front is more affected by the high heat IMHO <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
its still worn, since it is used during battle quite alot <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> but it isnt burn weathered nemore, its more natural dirt/scratch
<!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo--> <-- That says it all.
It's a little beat up for something that was just nanofactured...I like stuff that's kind of beat up but...that's really overkill. I mean, come on... how much "wear and tear" does a <b>welder</b> really get?

if you saw some tools they use in factories when theyre new, and then the same tools after 3 years, ur gonna see the difference m8
looking at the game concept of ns, i dont think there was much time for the marines to clean up theyre rifles and tools -_- so this is my idea of how it would kinda look after some years in battle with aliens in dirty places
you can have my childeren if you want <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

besides i'm sure a welder would actually get more of a 'worn' look then a gun just because of the differences with the uses. So on that note, i love the welder and, just great top-notch skin. keep up the work.
that's fine with me...it's his skin. I just have to say that the point made against what i said just doesn't stand up...I prefer the dirty look,too. that doesn't change my suggestion.
Any progress? I really want this welder <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
