How Do I Get Ns To Work With Steam?

<div class="IPBDescription">Sorry if this has been posted before...</div> The first time I tried to install Steam it wiped out most of HL, so I backed up NS and made a clean install of HL. Then I installed Steam, and it seemed to work.
But now I don't know how to play NS with it... or if you even can...
I copied my NS backup into the SteamApps\my@email\half-life\ , but I don't think that did anything.
