<div class="IPBDescription">Appendix C is very vague...</div> I wasn't sure how to create these team start rooms. Should it be made like a DOD map, where it's impossible for the other team to get into the marine spawn? Or should it be as is in the ns_ maps?

And would these marines just appear DOD style? I mean, would a big kinda hologram/infantry portal be cool? So it would look like these new waves were teleporting in...!


I don't know. Other people post boggles or questions about this new game mode, and hopefully queries will be cleared up. =/

    I dunno, this has been confusing the hell out of me too. Due to the stupid amount of work i have left to do on ns_deus, i'm gonna build a co_ map for a bit of fun, and i've got a layout done, but all i've been lead to believe is that the maps should be like CS maps. I dunno really.

    Its vague because the idea of CO is vague, too.

    it should have the size and complexity of a cs map with lots of ways to outflank and ambush.

    I've planned that you can't go and kill spawners, since it would be too easy to end the round then.
    Altho lerk can go nearly everywhere, unless we use teleports aka one-way-phases.

    And the size. Trying to keep it small-medium 'cos its nasty to hunt other player in 1vs1 game.
    Since there's no other goals than just fragging, there's no need to be even as "complex" as de_dust .
