Mp_uplink And Natural-selection

<div class="IPBDescription">Just NS.org or another domain?</div> I know there are plenty of threads concerning mp_uplink but I haven't been able to find one addressing my exact question and #nsserver seems pretty quiet right about now.
For the in game icons (vet, pt etc) with mp_uplink set to 1, with the server trying to get the list of WonIDs, does it go to ONLY the www.natural-selection.org domain or does it go to another domain or to www.natural-selection.org and then redirected to another one?
Currently the servers I'm admin for do have access to get to www.natural-selection on port 80, but the icons do not appear and was wondering whether it's being redirected to somewhere else and thus can't contact it due to it being blocked?
