Help Me With My Avatar Please

How can I make the background clear? It wouldn't be hard to change it to a certain color but what is it? Any help would be appreciated. (i.e. I don't want any color surrounding the skulk besides the background.)

    Yep, that avatar is reserved and copyrighted, any who use will face coils wrath. he will rain bananas from the sky onto your computer. It was designed specifically for someone.

    1) That's not my artwork, no worries. Mine looks like <a href='http://www.princeton.edu/~danj/shiny/SDskulk.jpg' target='_blank'>this</a>.

    2) As they said, please use the sticked <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=33938' target='_blank'>official avatar & sig thread</a> for any future sig- or avatar-related requests.

    3) To get transparency, you must save your image as a GIF image with transparency enabled.
