Horrible Fps W/ Decent Card

I'd rather have a total bad system than one with a good gcard

Example:

500 k6 2 (amd)
vodoo 2
196 sdram
---------
good performance (cs 30 fps)

500 k6 2
geforce 2mx
196 sdram
---------
bad performance(cs 10 fps)

It's all about the right combination. Don't try mad things like a GF FX with a P3. You will only see bad results.

100fps in empty, simple rooms, down to 20 or so when looking at a completely built marine base (w/turrets)

Built a new system today using the same GFX card:
2.8 Intel P4
512 DDR PC400
99.99 - 100 flat in almost all circumstances,

Proccessors do matter. Alot.
