Ummm... I don't know about you guys but I think that this is not right: I've read some of the explainations about their tournament thing, I thought "hey! We discussed about this kind of thing with a friend lately!": the very same guy who made me do the Guide I've done in the Frontiersman Strat' forum, was also the one who thought that what was lacking in NS was a more global thread, like conquering and defending maps.
We both agreed that this would be great if the official dev team could integrate such a thing to the game, and thus make the official storyline of game evolve along with the course of the battles.
So, as I was browsing through this site, I was thinking "hey! We were not the only ones who thought about that obviously!"
But then I read this and I ticked:

When you register, you will be logged into our system and your information will be approved to enter our servers with the passwords provided to you by your Leadership. Then you are welcome to take part in our Community Forums, hang out in our IRC Channels, participate in practices and scrimmages, and of course, wage war against your rivals in real-time battles that determine the fate of the Galaxy. After registering you will have a couple of weeks to get to know the community and have a chance to see how the tournament works.
Then, if you want to continue to participate, you will need to pay the enrollment fee (or find a sponsor willing to pay it for you) which will permit you to continue to participate through the end of the campaign.

So, this tournament thing isn't *that* free?
So is it me or this sounds like they are trying to make money on the labour of Flayra and the official Dev' Team?
May some official member of the dev team take a look at this?
