And it's attempt to kill me.
Ok, for a while now i've been playing with a func_conveyor. They're great, can get them scrolling nicely. Until now. How the hell can you make them scroll vertically? I've tried a number of things and they all still result in horizontal scrolling. Ach, help me.
And before anyone attempts to jump in, yes i've searched on here, on the VERC, around various sites and also google. I can find nothing, but i know it's possible. Probably rather easy too.

Pfft, in that case i will then.
Basically the format for scrolling in a certain dimention before is done through angling the texture the direction you want it to scroll. That's all well and good, but i'm trying to scroll text, so changing the angle meant the text was on it's side. Since i could find no other way, that's what i did. Angled the texture on it's side then in wally rotated the texture 90 degrees back so it displays the correct way, but is still scrolling upwards.
1.) The angle of the entity has NOTHING to do with the direction the texture will scroll, Though the 'Conveyor speed' does control the texture scrolling speed...
2.) The texture as seen in Wally or your texture selector will always scroll left to right...
3.) In VHE/WC, rotate the texture with the texture application tool, until the yellow line points in the direction you want the texture to scroll across a face.
Yes you can, but the opposite direction of left is right, which is no help when you want vertical movement.
In that case, yes, negative values with speed make it go the opposite direction.
