Trying To Get 2.01d On My Server

I'm trying to upgrade my 2.0 server to 2.01d using the ns-v201d.zip file provided here on the forums. I simply unzipped it into the HLServer/ns/ directory of my WinXP-server, exchanging the two old files ns.dll and ns_i386.so for the newer ones in the zip-file.
I restart my server, and connect to it... but none of the changes are there? For example, hives are still at 35 res, etc.
Do I need to do something more than copy the files?
Any specific versions of HLDS that are necessary?
