Scummvm

Play all those old Lucasarts classics.
Well i'm probably late with this, but i thought i should post it.
It would seem that in partnership with Lucasarts, AdventureSoft, Rebellion and others an emulator for the SCUMM engine (The finest point-and-click adventure game engine ever.) is officially available for download and classic games such as Beneath A Steel Sky, Day Of the Tentacle, Sam n Max, Monkey Island 1+2 and Simon The Sorceror 1+2 (Including all their 'talkie' versions.). This has got to be the greatest thing ever, these old classics are virtually unplayable without a lot of playing around on today's technology but this cross-platform emulator does it all for you!
Yes, cross platform, i'm to understand that there's PC, Mac, Linux and Palm versions available.
The official page ScummVM.org is, at present, down, but you can get access to the files at the development page here.
This is truely the happiest day of my life. I can FINALLY hear Gilbert Lamb's (Beneath A Steel Sky) thick northern accent once again!

Well... Last time I tried to run Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis on my machine it worked fine (other than the lack of music). So... other than the fact that I don't need it: yay!
DOSbox - a DOS Emu, its pretty good, but kinda slow at times.
XcomUfo - a remake is being made, and they have a Fix for Xcom ("gold ed" i think).
It does kinda, but the "Smash The Roadsigns" Side-Game is b0rked
Yeah - While DOT was quite great, the party hasn't started until Sam and Max arrive.
What about Tyrian... argh... still unsupported.
DAHM U AND UPDATE SO I CAN PLAY MY OLDIES!!!
Actually, they did several years ago...
Sam & Max
Day of the Tentacle
Indiana Jones and the Something Something
Rebel Assault
and a few more games...
anybody remember when you could go to the store and there'd be like a 7-pack of crappy Sierra games?

TYRIAN! I remember Tyrian now!
Tyrian is the two-player-link-up-ships vertical shooter, right?
but in singleplayer it was just a normal arcade flight thingy, but it was just coolie.
