I have never heard of a cat doing that.
But yeah, rodents and rabbits will chew on anything, they don't make good pets for people who care about their hardware. That's what you get for not going feline.
3 sets of mic head phones -_- a TV cable -_- a network cable -_- power cords -_- then finally he bit a cord and got shocked... he has never done it again <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
what is it with rabbits and electronics cords?? my ex's bunny always chewed the phone line and all her friends knew when it was happening because of the odd clicking sounds the phone would make...
Sucks. I have a friend who's cat kept chewing through cables, till he just stated throwing it across the room. It stopped chewing on cables. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> Who's Monty Python? wait thats not what I meant
Oh, and clearly that rabbit is in cahoots with MUGA.
If your wabbit is chewing electrical cables, the problem will correct itself soon enough <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Ok, that wasn't very nice. Um... I dunno. We managed to get the cats to leave cables alone by yelling at them when they started chewing them, and they got the message. I don't know if that works with rabbits.

hmm not a nice person that 2nd one, that pic, damn that rabbit.
I havent put my rabbit on teh floor since the chewing spree. now i suffer the 6 am wake up call to irritating grinding on the cage bars. im moving her into the room next to me tonight, to at least get some frigging sleep. heres a current pic. shes a lovely rabbit but she needs to chew other things.
note- the thing around her neck is a collar. she dont mind it cus its a soft string with beads.. guess what,, it used to be mine.. until she chewed it off and ran off with it, so i gave it to her
You can't hurt the rabbit. ;P Rabbit is too cute for hurting. What you need to do is get something that would taste bad, but is non-toxic. Like double-sided foam tape. Wrap it around the wires.

Yeah, the smell is too strong for animals. Whenever my cat hears a spraycan or sees me open a stick of deoderant, she shuts her eyes, wrinkles her nose, and runs for cover. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

but... that's okay. 'cause he's my little nibbincakes.

The younger of my cats has never really caused any problems when it comes to chewing household items. She's an effective Spider catcher/Moth hunter.
When I saw that deodorant thing I remembered about a few other things that most animals will run a mile from:
Double Mint Chewing Gum - Chew it up for a minute first then place by cat's nose. Permanent marker pen - Erm, don't chew this one. Orange peel - Some cats truly hate this smell. Some seem to be able to tolerate it. Toothpaste - Minty Fresh causes hell.
