Erm doing a model can some people give me some hints and stuff. I'm halfway through, using milkshape. I'm only using box, cylinder, scale and move to create this. are there any other special tools to make some simply awesome models that i've seen some people do. Anyway, here it is - The XM8.

True, but sometimes i find for more complex extrusions, it's handy to extrude and scale multiple times, then delete the faces, and unneeded vertices, and reface it. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
It's always nice to see a new modeller about, don't worry about asking for help and whatnot either (although, please do search first, it'll gain you a bit more respect).
