To me alice is a grim reminder about how far we are, but then I believe that you can't get inteligence without self-awareness (I think therefore I am etc) and that self awareness must be knowledge not belief (as in something that we always no rather than something we get from our senses and therefore not something that could be wrong) and the trouble is that you cannot program self awareness, it isn't in my mind something that can be taught, because it cannot come thruogh teaching, and afterall we don't know what makes us self aware.

Anyway, the chatbot is good fun because it a) looses the plot and then b) gets hung up about the fact you are tlaking about something you clearly lost ages ago.

It doesn't know how to deal with insanity, but it tries, unlike humans who just ignore you if you are insane, this doesn't know how to ignore you so it tries to reason your insanity.

Yes, but whenever you have weather? at the end of a line it think you are asking it it's case temp.

Actually it's funny to see the response when you just type a word with a ? after it, I found out where it lives, it's power, it's AI routines and many other factual things, it's very good about talking about itself.
