    The skulks have a nice advantage they didn't use too.
    They are faster now, not only are they faster normally, but give them celarity and you are flying!

    The Kharaa that can move faster than anything thing else is a Skulk
    When you are a skulk and have Celarity, you can move insanely fast, dodging gunfire isn't too hard.
    If you have Celarity and get Primal screamed, you move almost as fast as blink! I can't count the times on Mineshaft, where I was able to use that almost blink speed to get past a row of lame and an army or soldiers and Xeano behind them before they knew what happened!

    uhh...i attempt to predict

    Doesn't work for vets,but on the pubs I play,they just never learn to change <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    And I play at around 15 sensitivity,but it really doesnt matter,I have mouse speed set to max and turned off precision thingy....

    And the fact I can react rather quickly,but not that quick,compared to some really good players :/

    BTW,played too many FPS games it's not even funny <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> I lost count

    How do you disable mouse acceleration in hl?

    -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel
    I also believe it may be an option in the advanced controls.

    For anyone using Win9x, you can make your mouse more accurate..
    There is a program called <a href='http://www.students.tut.fi/~zibbo/other/' target='_blank'>Ps2Rate</a> (Note: Win9x ONLY) which increases your mouses sampleing rate, making it move slower, but more precisely, if you go from the windows defualt, which is really low.. somewhere around 10.. to 200 (the max) you will notice a difference, and find it really hard to go back to the windows defualt..
    Higher is better with that program, and if you click Make Defualt

    Anyone know the console command to set mouse sensitivity?
    I can't go to the menus without loosing 90% of my fps, so I need console commands to tweak everything in hl..

    type 'm_filter' in the console and check if its set to 1, if it is then try it on 0 should be much easier to aim.

    thought as alot of ppl said its more expirence with hl, alot of us have been playing hl mods fror 4 years and over those years your aim will get better.

    I've heard about those mouse surface pads but I've always been skeptical... what's the point of them anyway? I honestly don't see a difference between using cardboard and using a regular mouse pad (something I just tried).

    I use a sensitivity of 2 in CS and DoD while i use 3 in NS. I feel i need the extra sensitivity when things get in close.

    I play with no mouse accel, an mx500 and a FATpad. It pwns. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
