Ns Handicapp For Tournament Mode

<div class="IPBDescription">How to get it working?</div> I got these two variables in my ns server config:
mp_team1handicap 1
mp_team2handicap 1
and mp_tournamentmode 1
it says when hadicapp takes in effect there should be a HUD showing the status of the handicapp but I never see that status when there's a 4 vs 5 or whatever going on.
So how do I effectively enable team handicapp during a scrim? Like there's a 6 on 6 and one guy got his half life crashed so it becomes 5 vs 6 and team handicapp kicks in?
