I need a help with a few things in regards to 2.0 Servers - any help is greatly appreciated.

2.0 Server Loads.

Are NS servers FSB instensive?

Also, More RAM = Better Performance / Lower CPU loads?

Cheers,
Lachlan

U dont need more then 512MB ram.
But better u more u got.
i have an 1800xp 512 ram, works nice with 20 player on all maps exepts ns_bast.
If u have 512 ram and u think the server is laggy it should be better with an stronger CPU.

Servers on linux are not RAM limited - as long as you've got more than 128MB you should be ok.

Servers are still very much CPU limited - the more you can throw at it the better.

Network requirements are the same as other half life mods.

Windows sucks up far more ram than NS does. I've never seen it take up more than 100MB by itself, seldom more than 50MB.
