Pressing Escape Screws Everything Up.

Press escape in match brings up the menu.

Press 'resume game' and I hear the game running, but all I can see is the console background image.

I have to alt-tab out and go back to get it to run, and then everything looks like crap.

    Sounds like a video card issue. I know with Mine ATI 9600 Pro if I escape I get out to the menu after about 20 seconds of black screen. Then I resume game and it takes another 20 seconds but it looks fine when its done.

    *speculation* It could be that the amount of data coming from an NS server is so big that it takes some time for the system to sort it out, however I havnt tried it on other mods so Im not sure if this is accurate or not.

    alt tab, escape and many other things like that (escape actuyaly brings you to a DIFF program <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->) break HL, each case seems to have specific cures.

    SUPOSEDLY you only have to wait till the next HL patch and these things will WORK (only after about 4 years <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
