So I remember about 9999 threads asking for marine blood and all of them ending with team members or playtesters saying that flayra would never add marine blood to the game... so like, what changed his mind?

People needed visual confirmation that they were doing damage to the person or something similiar like that.

If I remeber correctly, Flayra also said that it "added to the atmosphere" of NS 2.0.

Marine blood rocks, except I don't think you bleed spontaneously if your in poison gas/just got hit with acid.

Dont get me wrong i am all for it. It really helps to let me know when i actually bit someone. I was just wondering why did it go from "Never, nope, not gonna happen" to "Hey we put it in".

I think rine blood's ok cause u get to see u actually hit the guy. As long as it doesn't get ridiculous ala UT or SoF.

I wondered the EXACT same thing.

It's sort of funny. .. because now, we should ignore the FAQ and just constantly start asking the questions we love the most "How about: <insert idea involving disorientating the marine view>" .. etc. etc. etc.
