<div class="IPBDescription">Holy crapola!</div>i purchased a nice new flat-screen sony monitor the other day online.  it looked good and was a good price.  when it came, it turned out that it was a fricken trinitron.  holy crap!  thats so awsome.  i love my new monitor!

    Good for a lot of things, but I -hate- them for graphics development, which is what I do for a living.

    i heard they aint as good as a screen of the same price; since they are more expensive you can get a normal one thats bigger for just as much.

    i think that if you sit too close to a flatscreen, it does not look good.  it seems to bend inward.  however, i game and map and mostly watch movies on my monitor at a distance between 2 and 10 feet, thus it looks more impressive than the hair on my butt (which is mighty impressive, i must add)...
