    how do you know?

edit; the C-D dev working on it every single day, he finds new hacks and a way to block them. that's why you get C-D update so often.

Only ever seen a speedhack in NS..... tbh if you get mowed down constantly by the same two guys they are probably from a top clan under an alias....

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> Actually, he techincally didn't crash the server. The buffer overflow (presumably via the adminmod timeleft/nextmap) just sends a packet overflow to the clients, thus flushing the connection and causing the data to be so heavy that the client cannot keep up and thus is released from the active connections. So, he actually failed to do what he said in the first place. (As the server remains up.) And DDoSing it would still not crash it, it would just cause too many connections and allow further requests to be refused due to congestion, thus once again he fails at crashing the server.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Thanks for dropping your technical skillz on me, Omelette. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

If a nextmap/timeleft exploit is used, wouldn't that be fixable on the adminmod end? IE:Only allow each client to nextmap/timeleft once per minute?
