    How's this for some proposed guidelines.

    Starting date: August 1st
    End date: September 15th

    Colour Limitations: 256 Gif Palette
    Maximum Width: 400
    Maximum Height: 400
    File size limitation: None. (Animations viable)
    Number of submissions: 5 or less

    Other limitations:
    - Pixel by pixel only. No photoshop brushes, effects or otherwise.
    - Works not be started before August 1st (Scout's honour)
    - Works must be submitted before, on or ONE DAY AFTER the September 15th deadline (Submit it on the 14th, this is just to make sure everyone submits before the deadline due to global timezones)


    I think that covers our bases....

    No joke, you have read my mind. I was thinking the exact same dates and sizes. Thanks Infinitum... Now we need some sort of theme and grading system:

    Theme: People post ideas and what sounds good, will become the theme.
    Effort: 1/10
    Quality: 1/10
    Originality: 1/10

    My mind has blanked... Can anybody think of some more grades?


    Other rules:

    - No copying or stealing other people's work, it has to be your own.
    - No resizing images and claiming it to be pixel art (you can use it for a referance though.)

    OK the start of the comp is about... oh say... 24-36 hours away.

    Let's just scrap the whole 'people who sign up can participate', let's keep it open to anyone who wants to enter...

    After the closing date, let's see if we can get an op to make a poll thread for people to vote on... or we'll arrange something else....



    We'll make a new thread soon for the entries eh?


    I already got about 3 ideas brewing >;)

    Ohhhhhh, the list of people isn't like that. It was only there so I knew if enough people would be interested in making an image.
