Actually there is a very good possibility that the play testers have tried some different server configurations. And there is a good possibility that some might respond to such questions. And it seems to me that this is the place to ask if you’re looking for answers.

And it does take more than a minute to figure out which plugins work, and which ones crash easily. Although, I think it would be pretty stupid to install gameplay related plugins (such as medarmory) before you know exactly what 2.0 gameplay will be like. All the other plugins shouldn't bring up compatability problems anyways.

Does anyone know if NS2.0 has a new server variable that limits the nr. of rounds to be played on each map? Similar to what CS has, mp_maxrounds.

just set the timelimit to 10 minutes . in genral you won't finish a game within 10 mins on a public server
