Much as I love labs, I prefer a lab/golden mix. My doggie's mother was a chocolate lab and his father was a golden. He looks like a black lab, though he's a bit leaner, and has a slightly longer coat and tail.

I need to post a pic of him as soon as I scan it.

My sister has a Bernese Mountain Dog, and those are pretty cool as well. They play together a lot, so maybe I'll upload a group shot.

This is my favorite dog. normally they get to be decent sized. 75-150 lbs. but some of them can get giant.
my friend owned 3... kujo weighed about 200lbs kane weighed about 210lbs and the 3rd one was bigger even cept i never got to see it. a farmer shot it for going on his land. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'> they stand about shoulder to shoulder with st. bernards the ones that reach this size. just more trim and muscle. Some people dont see akitas as getting this huge. but there are alot of akitas out there that are 200+
cept they are so cute when they are this size ---->

Ok, here is another picture.

I think this picture is interesting, because it was shot by me at a weird angle, making the picture unique by incorporating design basics...comm tech wasn't a waste after all! And it has late evening sunlight making his hairs more evident.
